Hi,

I want to buy a Nikon camera and get it shipped through Aramex but I am kind of worried cause I heard some stories about lost items. Can you please share your opinion or stories of whether to go ahead or not?

Thanks

I ordered the same sized books only a month before and they were around 30-50qr per book. New prices are NOT reasonable.

Yes the prices went up recently. They texted the new prices a few months back. 100 QR per book is reasonable if the book weighs between 2 to 3 KG. You didnt mention the size and weight of your books.

I don't know why but there prices have shot up for shipping, I recently had to pay 710qr for 7 average sized books I ordered from the US!!!! That's like 100qr a book, which is just ridiculous, not to mention the hassle of it sometimes being delivered late or having to go to the Ministry of Info because they want to check the material I ordered.

Been using Aramex for over a year. Mostly for computer hardware and gadgets. I had one unpleasant incident when they lost a bluetooth headset worth $80 from Amazon. Aramex accepted the fact that they screwed up after checking with USPS who confirmed that the package had been delivered to my mailbox. They opened an online ticket and I was contacted by one of their reps. who's last communication to me was -

"Kindly note that the item is in your US mail box and has been shipped to Qatar via ARAMEX tracking # **********; item is now in Dubai and will be arriving to Qatar on Sunday.

I apologize for the late reply. "

This was after many back and forth emails. This package never arrived. The Qatar office had no record of it. I received other packages that were shipped at the same time, but not this one.

I never followed up as I went on vacation, and later I had given away the mobile phone for which this accessory was intended. I just let it slide as I thought the cost of the item wasn't worth following up on it, among other reasons.

After this incident I have used Aramex heaps of times (>USD 4000 worth of stuff). Everything's arrived on time. I think this was an isolated incident and hope I don't have to experience it again.

Had been shipping items from the US of A. Last few shipments were for an Acoustic Guitar. Arrived unscratched and in RECORD time. THREE days after my shipment arrive at my US Mailbox.

The latest shipment was an Electric guitar for my son. No issue arrived unscratched. But this time it took 6 days to reach Doha. Most probably shipment arrived US Mailbox early Saturday morning.

I will keep on using ARAMEX time and again in the future. Shipping cost is very much lower than using Direct Courier service.

I've ordered all sort of things from Amazon using Aramex, including a laptop. My only complaint is that sometimes they take too long to deliver your things.

I've used Aramex for the last 3 years and not a single package has been lost. I've bought 3 DSLR as well, all in good order when they arrived.

I have been using Aramex ShipnShop Services for the last 4 years and do online shopping at Amazon.com and have so far never had the experience of losing items.
