We did try W a week ago but there was this FRENCH DJ and the cover charge was QAR 150 so we went to Paloma instead :-P

Alexa, you remember these 3 men, i introduced you to? they are some 3 managers from my company.. my hub got them ALSO drunk in no time, with all his B-52 and sambuka shots (even with no coffee beans)... no kidding.. :):)

and then hey,when he made sure everybody is drunk and happy, he proceeded to IH to have 6 (six) Guinness SHOTS, that's how he calls it, when you drink beer not like a beer, but like SHOTS, at once.. lol... by the way, if I am not mistaken, this W didn't have Guinness either...

lilBoPeep, to be honest i understand most of the guys.. the place is quite boring and EXTREMELY expensive...(for example, B-52 in Irish is QR38, in W is over 50)...

they just pretend to be "something", but you know, that my hub couldn't get even his favo Polyfrog there, because they didn't have some ingredients for it!! eh?? And also all these endless: “don't sit here, don't stand there..".. pretend to be fully booked, and eventually empty boring place...

also sambuka in a normal world has to contain couple of coffee beans inside. when you get a shot, these coffee beans jump into your mouth..when after having sambuka, my hub asked why there were NO beans, they simply answered: we don't have it... WTH?? And charge for it almost double than in any other place?

No live music; the music records were of undefined style... Like Debenham’s clothes: for everybody and for NOBODY... i hate it...

in despite of leaving in W over QR2000 at that night, my hub eventually went back to his favo Irish harp to have a real fun there...

Its dissapointing that the last 2 gatherings I have been to, have been a poor turn out?? I realise everyone has a busy life and its hard to make arrangements around everyones lifestyle, but really would have been nice to see more faces! I thought that's what it was all about?? 1. have a baby and cant leave him at night with any one.

2.hubbi and i do not drink alk, so we dont like to be in places where its consum.

3.i am preagnant and dont want to be out at late hours.
