I wish I could also say I grew up watching his movies (that would implicate I am a young girl still) but when he joined the movies, I was already a grown up girl.. I used to tell my mom that I would love to get married to someone who looks like Shahrukh Khan.. I still remember I was in 11th standard when his first movie came out.. Boy I had a crush on him right there.. The movie was Deewana.. his first scene on a motor bike, I think after the interval.. Koi naa koi chahey pyar karne waala.. That was the first time I saw him since I had not seen any of is serials like Fauji or Circus. We did not have dish or cable back then. We got cable tv here in 1992 and his serials were before that.

Just one sentence. .East or West, Shahrukh the best.

When and if I ever get married and have a baby boy, I shall name him Shahrukh for sure.

Shahrukh..also known as SRK it the current heart throb of India.

His popularity is 2nd ony to the aging Amitab Bachan.

Acting wise he is ok-doky...but has great charisma. But he is an engaging Talker. If he gets a microphone in his hands he keeps taking a lot at the same time keeping you engrossed in his talks.

The films he stood out (& the ones I liked) were:

Bazigar,

Daar and

Swadesh.

There was one more movie Devdas where a lot was written about but I never enjoyed it.

jhonny liver is better than sharukh.... :) wen sharukh talks its like he is having hicup and crying at the same time...crap....

I never heard of Sharuk Khan before. Is he a good actor?

Wud say Amir is a better actor...only movie where I hav seen SRK's acting talent is Chak De.

But yeah...hez got that down-to-earth kinda charm. Hez better off in the charm n charisma dept than most other actors in the Bombay film indusrty.

guess DDLJ is his all-time biggst hit. K3G they say it was a hit but not a personal fav of mine.
