Hi SDA Members,

We have been in Qatar for awhile now and would like yo know if there are other SDA Members out there. No matter your nationality or colour,we are all God's children.

We need to get a church started over in Qatar, so lets get in touch first.

Please await your comments & contacts!

roberto: I know. It's not a perfect song for what you're proposing. Just one of those things...

Respect your belief. Stick to it, pray and follow.

But why the heck you fanatics wants to gather people and pray together? God has a hearing problem???

and then start preaching, mine is the best and yours is the worst. load of bullocks!!!

Get a life..

This is an 'Islamic' country? Ha, ha, ha. How come the government sells alcohol worth 30 million Riyals every month????

Imagine says imagine there is no religion...... I'm just asking for just one religion so they cannot all drink at the same bar

Roberto: I'm not hearing the song "imagine" playing in my head just reading your post.

Why can't we just have one religion in the world? It would cut down on all these temples......

I quite like god, it's his fan club I can't stand

Missmoneypenny makes a good point. Why all the vitrial? At the present time, 4/10, there is an SDA church in Doha. I find it interesting how many people mistake one religion for another, or have no religious background themselves, yet feel free to criticize others.

tolerant, respectful bunch of people on QL...? Have I missed the joke? Sounded to me like the guy was making a pretty reasonable request. I'm not a SDA myself, but if I was one I would be saddened by the response here, esp after after taking the initiative to find like-minded ppl in an often lonely place like Doha.

:( Unless someone can fill me in on the joke...? (maybe its an in-joke with mitch - if so, sorry to diss this thread!! I just clearly don't get it)

Iwas walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump.

I ran over and said: "Stop. Don't do it."

"Why shouldn't I?" he asked.

"Well, there's so much to live for!"

"Like what?"

"Are you religious?"

He said, "Yes."

I said, "Me too. Are you Christian or Buddhist?"

"Christian."

"Me too. Are you Catholic or Protestant?"

"Protestant."

"Me too. Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?"

"Baptist."

"Wow. Me too. Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?"

"Baptist Church of God."

"Me too. Are you original Baptist Church of God, or are you Reformed Baptist Church of God?"

"Reformed Baptist Church of God."

"Me too. Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1879, or Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1915?"

He said: "Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1915."

I said: "Die, heretic scum," and pushed him off.

I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone, I never found the companionable solitude. - H.D. Thoreau!
