selling a car

dear friends.
i would like to sell my car which is with full cover insurance. can i sell the car first to another person without changing the insurance to his name and later change the insurance? which one should be done first?

u have to change the insurance to his name or he has to make new 3rd party insurance in order to transfer the vehicle to his name coz the police will not accept to transfer the car to his name unless the insurance is in his name (this implements on vehicles with full insurance only)
