Ah, another intelligent stuff from your arsenal "don't you believe that our destiny lies in the hands of God?"...sure, there is nothing not to believe...NO.

When a super nova explodes and a man dies at the same moment, the astrologer will say that the man's death is a result of the super nove axplosion. The astronomer says that a super nova exploded. That's it. And if something happens which can't be explained, the believer says it's God who did it. The Non-believer says he didn't know why it happened. That's the difference. Your choice now.

Pseudo Science..It's based on Meteorology & Alchemy, but as I've remembered there's a concept of Astronomy which made it lose its credibility..

Astrology has been criticized for the wrong and varying predictions of the same subject by different astrologers. In my personal opinion, astrology is a means to befool people for personal benefits.

Afterall, don't you believe that our destiny lies in the hands of God?

Consistency and verification of results are the most important considerations which bring a phenomenon into the domain of science. Since, the results are not always as predicted in the case of astrology, it can be concluded its not science as yet.

If we go back to the origin of astrology, one would understand that people used to corelated the harvest with the position of planets which extended to other incidents and even the lives of people over generations. People love to draw corelations even when things are not 100% verifiable and that's the reason astrology has become so popular amongst the gullible.

When people are not sure, they tend to accept things which they don't understand. Astrologers defend their so called science relating it with soul, karma and re-birth etc.

A lot of work in metaphysics and paranormal sciences is needed before we finally catagorise astrology as science or superstition.

A 'Pseudo-Science'... It is based on the assumption of certain things which are considered to be facts...

Science is mainly supported by facts. This cannot be true for Astrology.

A few heavenly bodies cannot forecast the destiny of millions of humans who are assumed to be born with with same star sign.

Its great Irony that, many millions would be having the same star sign but their DESTINY may not be same, persons bearing Particular Star sign maybe either dying or happy or in a misery or in some sort of tragedy or happiness at the same time.

A News paper forecasts the star signs every week telling some fixed lucky or unlucky things on the other hand it may be that many of the persons of the same star sign would meet and face different circumstances.

Science and superstition are not much different. Both require faith in something most do not fully understand. Both are often revised over time.

Both are Same with Reference to ASSUMPTIONS.

Believing in it would be superstition.
