Sania should follow tradition, play for Pak after marriage: PTF chief

KARACHI: Pakistan Tennis Federation chief Dilawar Abbas has said that India's tennis sensation Sania Mirza should represent Pakistan in international tennis tournaments after entering into wedlock with cricketer Shoaib Malik.

I hope this issue will not get serious which could badly affect the tennis career of Sania Mirza.

issam2716...nice to see u so frustrated..i like that... but dude as far as democratic and secular is concerend..dont fool us..we are not illeterate like u.....people are aware of the fact that except turkey, all other countires (indonesia, iraq, senegal and malaysia)just for name sake are democratic and secular..

Secondly, regarding the term beggars is concered..india is not a failed state like pakistan..beggars are always and will remain, from failed states...

As u r uneducated, i ll help u, dont worry..just go check in google..GDP,PER/CAPITA and economic grwoth rate of india...campared to ur country (i mean real nationality) india is 1oo times better....

By Issam2716• 3 Apr 2010 12:24
Issam2716

India is democratic because of its Hindu majority? Are you kidding? Nepal is more of a Hindu nation than India and it only became democratic in 2008. Where were your fellow Hindus before 2008? You want some democratic Muslim countries? How about Turkey? Or Indonesia? Or Malaysia? Or Senegal? Or Iraq? I can go on and on.

Islam is not at all more conservative than Hinduism. I actually think Muslims and Hindus share many values. It is only the fascists on both sides who spread hate and mistrust.

Democracy has nothing to do with religion. It is the people who make their choices.

And if those who go to India are "beggars" then what about the Indians who leave India to other countries? Are they "beggars" too? Do you know how absurd you sound?

It's all about Money honey!!

Sania is obviously richer than shoaib (who is under ban currently); Shoab comes from a poor background, lived in one bedroom home for life, now perhaps he seeks more money and sania is the right choice.

Sania in other hand has a house in Hyd's jubilee hills, a posh area, earns around 4 crores INR per year(around 8 Cr PKR)....but POOr shaoib doesn't know that this money is about to seaze as ad agencies have already started shunting ad contracts.

May be shaoib has to pay some money to PCB as fine, and he may be asking this from sania;

poor fellas, could not get a chunk from IPL also.....!!

Swineflue, Obviously she has right and any1 will support her right to marry any1. But people who are angry and outraged is because in general indian are pissed off with pakis and it's usual. Imagine some1 is planting bombs in your home, what will you think of? Imagine you lost ur nearOne in mumbai blasts, how will you think???

In my opinion, it's a trivial issue where some dumb-heads are seeking fake pride!!

angry against Sania. In my view it's her personal life. She has right to select her life partner from anywhere. Politics should not involved in this matter. I believe if she married to other nationality like USA/UK there will be no problem. Problem for PAK only. In my view it's a sick & dirty mentality those who angry against Sania. Should wishes for their happy married life. PTF chief also sick saying that Sania should play for PAK.

I have seen the live conversation between ayesha's mom and the bro-in law of SHOAIB MALIK..Its really sad to see that the MALIK CLAN are straight away denying the marriage held between shoaib n ayesha..

SIDDIQUIE's have full proof of NIKHANAMA and they r gonna to take legal action against MALIKs..

It was really heart breaking to see AYESHA speaking in public for the first time..She was asking about all injustice held to her in open..I really mooved to tears seeing her pitiful plight..

Shoaib shld be labelled as a CHEATER and who plays with the hearts of innocents..

Feel shame for SANIA now, frankly to say..

As SHIV SENA has pointed their hard words against her that she shld be banned from playing ne tennis matches for INDIA after her marriage to SHOAIB,i support this..That stupid girl didn't get ne BACHELOR from INDIA?? Sania's parents even r the most foolish people here who allowed her dgtr to keep up her relation with much married man who was feeling ashamed to bring her first wife (Ayesha Siddiquie) coz of her weight..Now what SHOAIB has to say about SANIA's weight?? lolzzzzz

These guyz like Shoaib malik, from lower middle class background, when raise to glittering world of cricket, and find no suitably educated or careerwise progressed girls at home, seek around.

I saw the difference here while watching TV- mother of ayesha siddique, shoaib's first wife, talking like educated lady in fluent english, in the same hand, mother of shoaib is in "typical" style, wishing to keep sania in out of game, in full cloths...n so on........ perhaps she wants to see her playing tennis in burqa!!! :)-

I have seen her playing in DUBAI and in QATAR, and telling u she can't stand without ne support(like her mentor BHUPATHI)at international arena..She needs to put down her weight really..lolzzzzz

We shld encourage SANIA NEHWAL instead who holds 6th position in all over world ranking in BADMINTION..
