Sandstorm , shuts down Riyadh Airport
Sandstorm halts Kuwait's oil exports, shuts down Riyadh airport:
In Saudi Arabia, the sandstorm halted all flights in Riyadh airport, said a civil aviation spokesman.
The four million people living in the Saudi capital were forced to run for cover as a huge wall of dust brough the city to a standstill.
The sky turned orange as the storm came in, drastically reducing visibility and causing major traffic snarl ups.
