Salary Range for Secretaries (Executive Level)

I am a Filipina and has been here in Doha for 7 months. I was hired in the Philippines through an agency.

Being a first-timer in working overseas, I feel that I didn't have enought guts to negotiate and haggle for my salary package when I was interviewed back in my country.

I just would like to know the range of salary for Executive Secretaries. I have 12 years of experience as an Executive Secretary in varying fields.

It would help if I shall know the range so I that when my contract expires or when my boss shall pop his question if there's anything more that I need, I can somehow hold the reins.

Our company is a European construction firm.

I am thanking all of those who shall provide me with their valuable helpful advice.

Have a great day!

I could say that I am an effective communicator, be it in verbal or written, as attested to by my previous bosses and the one I am working with right now. It truly helps to know the range so that I know where I shall be heading to once I finish my contract with my present employer.

What's funny is, I am the one receiving and evaluating the CVs of hundreds of applicants for our new project and I am amazed at how enormous the figures they are asking for compared to their experience and exposure. Hence, it really made me think if I am already spreading myself too thin for the salary I am getting at the moment.

In the future, I hope that when the time comes for me to look for another job, I am equipped with the baseline when it comes to negotiating for my salary.

Thank you very much to all of you who took the time to read my post and gave your comment/advice.

Have a great day ahead!

Where are you getting such information from?

Maybe after 15 years service they do and then they are not solely secretaries.

The Oil companies pay approx 6000. Executive secretary could be more.

2700 salary? That's min. only if you're provided accommodation, transport, food allowance also. If that's the total package you're offering, forget it and hire a teaboy to be your seretary.

It's a little more than that plus company accommodation. However, sometimes, I do get bothered whenever I learn that the salary I am receiving is minimal compared to others who are actually junior secretaries but were locally hired here.
