Why are those Islamists claiming they are religious .. and will this act trigger more acts of terrorism in Europe?

Maza believe whatever you want and I will believe whatever I want. For me, religion is the root of all evil.

A Sudani friend said to me about 2 years ago, everywhere in the world where you see a news story about trouble, 95% involves Muslims, he was wrong of course! There are plenty of cases of unspeakable violence in the world each day! What is missing here is maybe that when these things happen elsewhere there is an immediate consensus that what happened was wrong, as shown by media reporting of the common people condemning the acts. This needs to be repeated in the Muslim world. Until the vast majority of Muslims can come together and agree that there is a clear line between acceptable behaviour, whether there might be some legalistic religious justification for such inhuman acts (which God WILL NOT forgive) and clear slaughter of innocents, people will react in fear to any display of Muslim identity.

To imply any moral equivalence between not allowing the construction of a Minaret for your mosque and derailing an express train full of innocents is morally bankrupt.

Simply wrong...religion in essence aspires to goodness...you seem forget that Capitalism has dominated the world for over the last century or so...not Islam or Christianity...

The secular / capitalist wars include:

The First and Second World Wars (not to forget the detonation of nuclear bombs over civilian populations)

The Korean Wars

Vitenam War

Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan

Iran and Iraq Wars

First and Second Gulf Wars

Latest wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

Then we have the economic crisis, proverty and pollution that has reached horrific proportions under the watch of Capitalism...now tell me if religion is evil!

In fact it is the absence of religion that evil has been allowed to dominate (politically, economically and culturally).

I agree. There is no real connection. However, Muslims are being made out to be pariahs in most of the world..
