I thought I'd upload some pics of the Aerobatic show that the Red Arrows did this afternoon (Nov.18 330pm)... I hope you guys were able to catch a glimpse despite the rather "hazy" skyline around the corniche. Enjoy...
Yeah, the French Aerobatic Team were also here two weeks ago. I think they all came in for the Dubai Airshow. I hope that Qatar would sponsor the next Air Show given that they ordered one of the most number of Airbuses and Boeings in last week's event - next to UAE.
I would love to see the US' Blue Angels do some stunts next time...

There were meant to be 9 but one of the planes had a technical hitch at the airport which is why the shapes didn't look very symmetrical

I didn't realise that, until I saw some comment here on a thread (forget the name of the poster) and the poster had a blog which I clicked on.
Dated 10 November the blogger said, "the other day":
"La Patrouille Acrobatique de France (i.e. the French Red Arrows), who were touring around the Middle East".
Had flown over!
I live and learn :P
I saw them out of my window today. I thought they looked cool. (for the few secods they were in view)
