By mariam-mar

I am desperately looking for a Real Indian or Pakistan Biryani. I loved this kind of food...It's been quite many years since the last time i tasted the best biryani chicken or lamb or Jingga biryani(prawns biryani) We had an Indian cook and had passed away in India 5 years ago. He cook the long rice for a special biryani and i regret, i never learned to cook this food. What restaurant can i find a great tasting biryani..

This forum is only for Biryani Hijackers and not for forum Hijackers.

Why dont we Qlers do an outdoor biryani treat to each other. We will go some place exotic (Let me know which one you prefer) and prepare biryani together. What do you think guys. If any one with good cooking experience or knowledge can lead us.

Peace.

coming back 2 ur question... if u wud like to try it out yourself... itz easy ... one good suggestion has been given about Shan (thats brand name) of Biryani Masala... it is also available in Safeer Center... and cost like 2 or 3 QAR a packet and can be good to serve for almost 6 people..

There spices are really good for Sindhi Biryani and Bombay Biryani .. and the instructions are in english too at the packet...

Only thing.. if u love spicy food ... make it as mentioned if not... increase the quantity of chicken and rice ....

If you are a Biryani lover... u will love it .. they are the best !

Dum Biriyani is the delicacy of Malabar, which is the central and northern part of Kerala in India. Dum means , its cooked heating from bottom and top of the vessel which is sealed air tight.

I havent find the right one anywhere in doha, Golden fork oposite Mercure Hotel has it, Biriyani at Maza near Airport is also not bad.
