A Ramadan guide (for non-fasting QL'ers)
What to expect just before, during and after Ramadan
Expect to reach work early (very little traffic in the mornings)
Expect - correction - do not expect much to be done by your colleagues
Expect to get used to eating in the pantries
Expect to socialise with colleagues you haven't really socialised before, while doing the above.
Expect mad rush at QDC while you stock up on booze (if you have not done it yet, sorry, you are scr8w8d)
Expect to get home in the early afternoons driving under the scorching sun.
Expect (do not expect) much traffic during this time
Expect to have a beer or two and a nice lunch
Expect to get into a habit of napping in the afternoons
Expect to put on some weight
Expect to sleep later than you normally do (because you napped in the afternoon)
Expect to start a countdown if you are leaving somewhere fun for the Eid holidays (like I always do)
Expect long queues at the airport if you are leaving just before Eid
Expect to have a smashing time on a beach on some island the beer flows freely and the discos pulsate until dawn (and all hot women treat you like a rock star)
Expect to be very depressed on the flight back (sleeping pills / hospital strength painkillers might help)
Expect to feel like you have been run over by a bus, on the first day of work, because you just got in on the late night flight)
Expect to be shocked that you have to work once more for 9 hrs a day for 5 bl**dy days a week!
Until the next Eid break......
Forget everything else... 2 Questions
1. Which beach?
2. Which Island?
thanx
Good advice for all us non Muslims. As much as we respect others right to have the beliefs they have we need to live our life too
Dear All muslims
Dont waste time here.
Go for taraweeh prayers. I am also going.

These time wasters dont know they are going to die in a next 100 years.
