"no sectarian divide".....yea good luck with that. Even if the US/UK were not there it would be as bad, if not worse

It was some parade or something to show solidarity for Iraq. I got a “warning” from my embassy yesterday about that …

"US Scare!"

That's not a question. It's a statement.

U fool How can u jump to conclusions based on mere remarks posted on the web...

This is pretty much similar to how did the US after the Sept 11 attacks started a new style of search for suspected victims at the airports.. Unnecessarily suspecting every bearded individual no matter what descent were they from or the race they belonged to...

Disgusted ! I think its the personality factor that preoccupies the sub-conscious mind and thngs are being taken way beyond imagination that people start behaving like fools....

i dont knw a sh** abt this rally I came frm wrk and asked a mere question......

i got an email today concerning the rally...call it a protest, a rally...a gathering, whatever - here's the info concerning the event:

doha • The Central Municipal Council (CMC) will be taking out a rally this evening to highlight the woes of the people of Iraq who are suffering due to foreign invasion. The rally is slated to begin from the park near Doha Sheraton and snake its way to the Corniche via Al Bida Park. "No for invasion and sectarian divide in Iraq," is the motto of the rally, a press statement issued by the CMC said yesterday.

"Our brothers in Iraq have been suffering for years. We want to express our solidarity with them," said the statement. A number of prominent religious scholars and expatriate organisations will be taking part in the rally. The CMC has called on residents to make the rally a success by participating in huge numbers. The gathering point is the park near Doha Sheraton and the rally will start at 4pm.

so there you go. How was it? Did anyone experience it?

Mr.Cutersk, you are obviously an anti-US guy:(

Whatever thread it would be...

I supposed you've heard this song: "Heal the world, make it a better place, for you & for me & the entire human race.'???

Take it from there:)

My husband said that he was told that there would be an anti-war protest along the corniche this evening. It will be starting somewhere around the Sheraton.
