Questions About Importing From China

Dear All,

I need to buy items from china via the internet. The company in China will send the items via Doha Sea Port.
How can I know if the items arrived or not?
Will they phone me?
Will I have to pay for the customs if I am a Qatari individual?
Please help me.
Please note that I do not have a company. I am an individual.

If you pay first, Most certainly goods will never arrive in Doha Port and you don't have to bother with the Customs:)

Yes you'll get charged customs on certain goods but it's most probably handeling fees.

make sure your name and number are on the package.
