I read this advert on Qatar Happening and they said it will start on 25th January. Anybody can give more infos about this event? whats the requirements to be the candidate (not that I want to join) just wondering? would it be all stupid stuffs allowed like the American Idol? you know all the weirdo can't sing, wearing stupid costume, dirty make up? ridicilously dance move???? or would it be professional stuff?

Maybe we can make Doha full of fun to watch this Qube Idol 2008 over the 6 weeks.

If it's in the Qube I and so many people I know wont attend. Its sounds like a lot of fun, (the crap artists are the funniest to watch). The Qube is a good venue, which i truely believe is capable of so much more. However, the atmosphere and "SOME" of the people that attend the place ruin it. Ive been about 6 times and enjoyed it "almost" once.

Im not starting a QUBE debate, its been done to death on here. I guess what im trying to say is that. . I wish there was an alternative venue.

Humanity is simply a parade of fools....and im right at the front twirling the biggest baton anyones ever seen.

Hi Mila,

Qube Idols has no pre-requisites to become a candidate. I guess you just have to sing your way in contention on 25th of January. There is going to be a professional panel and you definately will not be awarded a singing contract but a cruise for 2 awaits the winner.

All just a bit of fun for people in Qatar.

It does not mater if you cant sing or dont want to be a candidate , you can just get there to watch a few people sing their hearts out :))
