Is QTEL really that bad??

I am applying for new connection and it took 2 weeks(and still counting). Whats worst it somebody would call, prior the next day, telling they'll come the next day and they'd give a call but nobody would come. Its really frustrating. They'll waste your TIME and EFFORT. I don't know why it's so difficult for QTEL to call and ask for the location on the same day. To make matters worst, they'll report back saying they called up and no one was answering.
soon you will have your connection... :)
Do you work 4 QTEL?
Give Me your account number
yup coffee..everytime i call they said there's no job booked for me. They'll make a reference number and after that a contractor will call saying he would come in the morning AND GIVE A CALL. Next day will come,NO CALL and NO CONTRACTOR! It happened to me twice!!
do yop have your Account or any reference number?
lucky for you lolipop,if its true :P
I applied for a new connection last week & got installed in 4 days............
You're absolutely right STEALTH. QTEL must put sanctions to those third party contractors who don't do their job well..its QTELS name they're tarnishing thou....
its the contractors who are supposed to come and do the job.
@Tcoffee and Brakepad...maybe both of you might have misunderstood me. I'm fully aware of the consequences if you missed their call, but the problem is they even didnt bother to call!
In such a situation, you have to be patient enough.
Q-Tel is the best in Qatar. Their motto is to become one of the top 20 Telecom companies in the whole world and they are marching towards that goal but the pace is enough to beat snails.
just you got the wrong side of the stick.. Qtel is not that bad, but in your case you have just been a bit unlucky.
It's not Qtel's fault, if you do not answer your phone next day even after informing you the previous day that qtel technician will come to fix the line.
Hang in there......it is true that if they call and you don't answer the phone you will lose your spot n the queue.
All I can say is make sure you can answer your phone at all times.
With regards to them not turning up for an appointment, I have not experienced this. I have has two internet connections done within the last three months and on both occasions they came after calling me.
If you do call 115, be patient and polite, remember these people are working for someone who tells them what to do, they are not the ones in control.
you know ...they are dealing with a lot of people...around 700,000
i wonder why in another countries...communication companies are dealing with millions and you can find lesser prices and better services.
for example ..take a look at Saudi Arabia or Egypt.
Is there really such a thing as "worng" nationality and skin color? LoL! i don't get it. of course, i am aware that anywhere, discrimination may exist. but if the person only knows how to deal with it, then i think it's not a problem at all. we can't deny the fact that some people who came from developing countries have higher disposition in life than those who came from developed ones. =)
The word "bad" is rather more respectful to be use for q-hell
been through this...it's an old joke
but you'll get it...
exactly what im saying Jack!
Maybe you have the wrong nationality or skin color?
