Hi all,

Did anyone had this experience..

Its been a great disappointment that my Mobile phone which am using for the last three years got disconnected pointing that I have a pending landline bill of QAR 400, which I closed and cancelled in OCT 2009.

On enquiry, nobody is helping me instead keen on insisting me for payment. I took this landline in Oct 2008 when I was staying is Bin Mahmoud Area which came with Mozaic. I used the line and services for 1 year and as we shifted to Ain Khalid, I cancelled the line, returned all Moziac TV equipments and cleared my bills in Al saad Qtel office.

After doing that all the records which was maitained in my Qtel e-services for that Landline vanished and everything cleared.

Now Qtel legal department is forcing me to pay a bill which was already cleared and disconnected my Mobile phone for the same. Its really disappointing and noone to help.

Am really not on acusing anyone but appreciate a kind advice if anyone reading this.

Thanks

have you tried contacting the people on 111, because even if you have lost the payment receipts Qtel has a record of all the payments made on a particular account. Just try and call them on 111 & insist upon raising a bill docket. They will investigate and guide you.

And that's the moral of the story: ALWAYS keep your payment slips from Q-Tel for at least 20 years!!

Just show them the invoice and get rid of them.
