QLVC’s Iftar distributions drive…

By casanova

Hi all…

Its been pleasure meeting you all at PitsStop, it was an amazing experience to see the enthusiasm of the QL Volunteers for contributing in such a generous and holy cause in this blessed month of Ramadan.

I would like to thank Speed for arranging such a meaningful event and to those who contributed in this cause physically and morally.

Special Thanks to PitsStop who came up out of no where like an angel to us with loads of support and hospitality, for providing us a decent space to operate from and the delicious Iftar she arranged for all the volunteers out there, we are highly appreciated with your hospitality and wish you all the good lucks for your new and upcoming ventures in life.

I would like to thank Azilana, Xray, Deep, Rehan, Trustme, Lucky, Aqil, ballinkg, Hero_yuy2, Nathan, Hassan, eco-savvy and Malang for being supportive enough to make the Iftar distribution drive a success.

Thanks to Khanan, AishaTavila, Greentea, OSH and others for their special appearances. My apologies if I missed to mention someone’s name but you all are good human beings with a big heart filled with generosity and may Allah “The Almighty” keep showering his blessings on you and your families.

It was next to impossible without your hard work and contributions to make the drive a big success.

Thank you Ahmad for your spot visit and Qatari for providing us such a meaningful platform.

So keep up guyz… you rox and so is QL.

Keep Smiling...

You should've shared me some of those so that I can also make an error. ;-p

...or maybe it's the 'dates'. I haven't open it yet that's why I'm still in control of my name-pulling. *winks*

I would offer, but its only made in Ramadan - and today is the last day that we have it made.

who runs a Business under the flagship of 'PITSTOP' ... to tell you the truth I have never met such a business minded young woman, who has specialized in depth knowledge into 'SPORT MOTORBIKES' spare parts and accessories and all these items came from world Top Brands and she is the dealer of those brands in Qatar.

Now the story start from here that when I start this 'Iftar Distribution' Campaign and when I received tremendous response from the Qlers and QLVG members I was bit stuck and start thinking that I have started the campaign and what if people my 'Collection Point' is flooded with Donations such as water bottles/ juices/ cookies/ dates etc.... where am gonna store those items .. even though the storage was not really the problem.. but the main problem i was facing to keep the water and juice bottles in a cold storage and this is was discussing with Casanova, although he offered me his DEEP FREEZER option but I told him next day people will be licking the water and juice bottles as LOLLY POPS ... lol.... Next day when I logged into QL I got a PM from PITSTOP suggesting why don't we use her shop for our Volunteer activities such as storing the items and doing the packing stuff, when we visited her shop and I notice that she has 2 Fridges in her shop and later we stored all the 'Iftar Packets' in both the Fridges ... Alhamdulilah we distributed Cold water and Cold juices to the people :-)

This is how Allah send her to help QLVG :-) (Mash'Allah)

We pray to Al Mighty for her long, healthy and successful life in Business and to her new destination. (Ameen)

Speed,

I remember you raised your concern for a refrigerator to store the distribution stuff on telephone, and very next minuet I got your call informing that PITSTOP has offered you a refrigerator, that’s why I called her an angel from no where, she has shown us a real Qatari hospitality.

she would like to help out doing more volunteer work for the less fortunate people here in Doha. a few ideas were given as we were there packing those iftar goodies.

Maybe we could think of something that we could do for others...

continuous support to QLVG ...

Yes I agree with you that PITSTOP came from no where as an Angle to us and the way she offered her help to QLVG will be unforgettable ... THANK YOU PITSTOP :-)

The Iftar you arranged for the Volunteers was just great ... i liked 'Haris' and 'Kharoof' it was yummy ;-)

We are proud to have you in QLVG and look forward for your continuous support ...

Also, I would like to say special Thank to All the Volunteers for their efforts and support they put in to make this event a successful. No doubt without the support of you people it was not possible ...

I am happy that everything went very smooth and as per planned.

Our success was our unity and team spirit.

JazakAllah Khair (God Bless You All)
