LOL jjj75. I regret your jealousy. You should be more content with your station in life. I hope you find peace and stop feeling you need to be all the time apologizing for yourself.

Sorry, if I disproved your false allegation that it would not happen to white people or other royals. I know it makes you look silly but that is your issue not mine

None of the public would've dared to pull such a stunt. It's a pity that this person thought his title would get him a government payoff. While i'm not sure of the circumstances , but i'm glad that the embassy have not moved to cover this up or bail him out

2020 disagree- let us liken this to a member of 'our' royal family and yes it very much would be in the newspapers. You only have to look at Sarah Ferguson (ex-royal) to see how they jump all over supposedly rich people who have financial difficulties or don't pay their bills (she has had/done both).

but then again 2020 maybe that you are so Zenophobic it blinkers your view of the world that you only see and believe what you want to - just a thought??

jjj75- lol on the clue :P

OP- oh well, different country, different people, different rule, different culture, we cannot always compare.

but this only shows that you cant really buy class :) :P

Agree with fred2265. Racist, xenophobic, and JEALOUS.

If this was a white American it would not be worth reporting.

Bouncing a cheque is disgraceful but so is the borderline racist little englander commentary from The Sun.

pleases see my FT:

from another newspaper or would you say that all newspapers in the UK print lies about Qataris?

At least there is no prison for those that don't pay bills in the Uk - debtors prisons were abolished 200 years ago, unlike some countries I can think of (beginning with a Q)

I’m not sure that The Sun is a credible news paper though it’s one of the best selling news paper in UK (any newspaper would be the same as long as it satisfies the gossip-hungry readers )

Its splashy, trashy, and often scooping the competition. Regular features include the Page Three Girl, which some have decried as pornographic .Its owner Rupert Murdoch faced allegations in phone-hacking scandal and an editor was jailed for hacking into the voicemail inboxes of royal family employees ,so many politician , celebrities and even more ,the families of the victims of 9/11.More of its staff were arrested in bribery !!! If your source was the guardian I might be more inclined to believe it.

Were you kicked out of the country for doing orgy on the beach? I’ve been in UK for 5 years and been here for 12 years the only thing that annoys me not the Arabs ignorance( you were here because we admit it) but the westerns imperial patronizing superiority attitude towards the Arabs.

Just a question....

Coz this topic you posted happend in UK. And you mentioned "your" country?

Which means you have a British passport, right?

By the way, were you able to get a villa in that compound in Rayyan?

Still more jealousy. One Qatari is accused of wrong-doing (supposed) in other country and the glee of such people on QL. Now that is jealousy. LOL.

Mercia, don't you think you generalised it a bit? Why do you use "they" instead of "a Qatari Royal". I know a few Al Thani and they are very honest people, kind and friendly.

Anyway, do you believe all the c-rap from the Sun? There must be some other side of the story that the sensation -loving Tabloid reporter has hidden from us, don't you think?

I am sure this Estate Agent will get his money back and perhaps some compensation for the trouble caused.

5 fingers are not same, so same is case of Arabs, I don't like Arabs but I don't hate them as much as you do, though there are people who are narrow minded, arrogant.

But still you will find many of them, who are friendly, Nice, down to earth, and honest. Not talking about Qatar, talking in general,
