TO QATAR TRAFFIC POLICE DEPARTMENT (MOI)
Assalamualaikum..
Dear Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar,
Please kindly instruct Traffic Police patrol car or Alfazaa patrol car to keep sweeping the parking area infront of Qatar Petroleum / Municipality office building in Al Sadd especially in between 7am in the morning to 02pm in the afternoon as hit and run keep happened in this parking area at busy hours.
Mostly Qatar Petroleum Group employee who's working in Ras Laffan are parking their car in this parking lot, in the evening when they return they keep found their car dented because somebody hit the car and run without leaving any notice. Understand in the morning people are roaming in this area looking for parking coz they need to go to Municipality or Court. As the parking lot also limited then people start to park their car carelessly in between two rows or on top of the sidewalk which is not dedicated for parking. The road become narrow because there's a lane of parking in between two rows, and this causing difficulties to the driver to maneuver their car and sometimes hit others.
So many cars in my company got hit and run while parking there. One car got hit and left with a full broken back glasses, one SUV got somebody wrecked his bumper for 2 times, some cars found his side mirror broke, some cars found his headlamp broke, two cars found his door dented, and for scratches body cases: countless.. And today is my lucky day... I found my rear bumper scratch and dent.. We don't know who did this nasty things to our cars and we have to spend money to repair our cars because of this irresponsible things. We have no more place to park as that place is our dedicated parking lot from the company.
To Qatar Traffic Police Department (Patrol Car), please please please keep patroling in that area especially 07am-02pm. Please please please apply a HEAVY PENALTIES to all cars parking carelessly in front of Qatar Petroleum / Municipality office building in Al Sadd so there will be no more driver parking carelessly and no more hit and run cases, thank you..
you knew who did it to your friend's car...
They have a camera on top of the municipality building, but the funny thing is one day they catch my friend litering in the parking area (throwing a cigarete butt before he enter his car). They have an evidence with the video from the CCTV that my friend was litering, and then they gave him a fine onto his car registration. But 3 months later one of our friend got his back glass fully broken coz somebody hit and run in the same slot my friend litering a cigarete. Hoping municipality can help them with the CCTV record they gone to municipality and asking for the record from CCTV to catch the car who hit and run, but surprisingly they said they don't have... :(
Hope next time they'll put cctv camera to catch the hit n run driver & give them a heavy fine.
I'm worry there are some car dent/damage mafia who gain benefit from damage cars???
Thanks to Qatar Traffic Police and Alfazaa.. They are really doing their jobs regarding hit and run in Alsadd..
Today morning 9am I saw them parking in the parking entrance, told the driver to drove out if there's no space left for them. Not less than 15 cars parking in between rows and on top of sidewalk got stickers on their window.. Be ready for at least 500 riyals penalty plus 3 points deduction..
I know even I'm not tweet them on their tweeter account they are keep closely monitoring Qatar biggest online community.. So whoever not agree or posting something rude in Qatar Living, be careful, MOI are tracking you in this site..
Sweeping parking areas is the job of Qatar Clean. Not traffic police.
y cant u discuss with your company to make a certain portion of the parking lot dedicated for ur company employees ??
alredy ppl in qatar are threatened with heavy fines !! u want to make owning car a nightmare ?
Do the traffic police has access to the internet while patrolling your car park? No point patrolling the rest of the city as your needs are obviously the most important.
Why dont you tweet to
