qatar doing the unthinkable..though sounds bit ambitious..given its wealth..i think this one is achievable..

Depends which location they build the resort. As Nomerci said, they need to make artificial reefs all around the resort and put some mild lighting arrangement for the people to appreciate the marine life. Iam not in favour of this as its against the marine conservation policy.

osama..yeah yeah buddy..yer right..my sister in law's family in the Phils owns a island that was considered as a marine reserve/ sanctuary..God..the sight is breathtaking..u can literaly see the baby octupus and baby fish swimming nearby..near the sand..not to mention if u'll dive deeper..u'll be more fascinated with the view underwater..priceless..

They already have under water observation rooms like a submarine and are widely used in the Caribbean and other tropical places where there are clean waters and plenty of fish to see.Here not sure, before they do that they will need create a coral life for the fish to bread around them.

mbk..forget them..u don't have to live within their standards..we should live according to what really pleases us and not base on what people will think about us..who are they anyway..

osama, let's do it all together with the gang..scuba diving is one of my list of "have-to-do-before-i-die" apart from bungee jumping, zip lining and parasailing..all adventurous and full of adrenaline rush..

Thanks to Qatar (that i am here:) ... they are making it hopeful to experience things that otherwise would have appeared on the News as a wonder.imagine the space experience... the underwater experience... all tat after the duning experience... its like experiencing life on land.. then air .. then underwater...nice.

ingeniero, let Qatar do what ever it wants..they have all the money in the world to spare (and waste)..needless to say, i'm a bit excited about this idea just imagine u're like in a giant acquarium and you can see the sea creatures right before ur very eyes..

although Qatar is a desert area mostly but under the water is something completely different, i know many people who are going for diving in umsaied and they say that there are a marine forests down there
