Qatar's emir has replaced energy minister Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah with state minister of energy Mohammed Saleh al-Sada, state news agency QNA reported on Tuesday.
coz he is been given a new post..HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani issued on Tuesday the Emiri decision No. 2 of 2011 appointing a Chairman of the Emiri Diwan.
H.E Al Attiyah was Qatar’s Minister of Energy and Industry. DR Al Sada, had the post of Minister of State for Energy and Industry since 2007 & was the 2nd Man in the sector ever since. He has decades of experience in the Oil and Gas business in Qatar and a PhD from the UK.
The Persian Gulf nation is “just at the start of negotiations with Sinopec,” Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah said today in a telephone interview. He declined to provide the quantity of supplies being discussed.
There are no details whether Mr. Attiyah has been given some other portfolio or not. He was one of the strongest member of the cabinet. I wonder what prompted H.E. The Emir, to replace him.
