and my favourites,
'so and so meet some foreign guy and they discussed issues of mutual interest'
or
'the cabinet met and discussed stuff and made the appropriate decisions'
If you are not going to tell me what went on or what was discussed then don't tell me at all!
why is 44 a significant year? O I See the two fours?
Bernie Lyons will celebrate his 144th B'day on the same day.
And also the "similar cables" sent on the same occasion!!
Then they haven't learnt anything in 44 years!
Seconded.
When will they realise that sending people telegrams on the occasion of their country's national day is NOT news.
But Happy Birthday QBS, anyway.
Can't wait..
I hope they play Englebert, Tom Jones, Rod Stewart , Billy Joel , Dianna Ross, Abba, Queen ...
Good music :O)
I only know QBS. Is it the same? Then they haven't learnt anything in 44 years!
So Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer al-Thani is to blame for this abysmal so called radio service.
