Qatar National Day - Photos From Parade

Hi All. Been a while since I posted anything on QL ( some of you might remember the photos I posted of the FINA diving finals earlier this year) . Here are some photos I took today at the corniche. Guys, thank you very much really for your kind comments above. I am truly grateful for what has been written.
Now to answer your questions :
1- Ahhhhhhh the Mirage. I love that plane. The shot was taken during the final pass to end the parade. It was the lowest the Mirage flew yesterday. I was standing about 200 meters away from the Emiri stand, so the Mirage was pretty much directly overhead. Actually I saw it coming very early when it was still over the water so I had time to track it with my camera early on. I fired off around 10 shots in a row during the time it was over my head. For the technically minded, the camera used is Nikon D700 with the 70-200mm f2.8 lens, fitted with the 1.7x teleconverter, giving a max focal length of 340mm. Shutter speed was 1/6400, aperture was f4.8 and ISO was 640.
2- A few enquiries above about more photos. There are plenty more. If you read my initial post, I did mention my web address where you can see all the shots that I have taken. So far I have posted 44 photos but there is still more to come. I should be done by tomorrow. Yes there are more photos of the flying display, including the helicopters.
