Qatar must keep up the good work
International studies and indexes keep granting Qatar outstanding marks and for good reasons. Only last week, Qatar secured the 22nd position among 133 economies ranked in 2009-2010 Global Competitiveness Report. The World Economic Forum publishes the annual competitiveness report, which first appeared in 2001.
Qatar's score reflects advances by four positions and undoubtedly makes it the best result among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members and the Arab world as a whole. The achievement is partly attributed to budgetary surpluses, in turn allowing for absence of debt threat, hence macroeconomic stability.

I pray for continued progress and good fortune for Qatar.
