Let's just hope that Qatar will solve this problems...

for the record:
1. Few QP companies fired 150 Indians in November 2009.
2. Another approx 350 employees from sub-continent are on notice period untill april'09
3. One architectural company fired 4 employes in Jan'09
4. One renowned Contracting and trading company fired a friend of mine and he landed in India on 10th Feb.
5. On last thursday a another renowned construction company fired 17 people.
These are statistics that I now first hand and not merry hear say.
You still think Qatar is not effected.
FYI: All Barwa projects are postponed untill further notice.
Qatari companies already have impact. A friend of mine got laid off last week from one of the well established Qatari company. In fact, they have canceled a whole department itself. :(
Moving on is simple; it's what you leave behind that makes it so difficult .
