QATAR AIRWAYS VERY BAD SERVICE

Did anyone have a bad experience encountered with Qatar Airways?
I don't really know how the "5-star airline" can claim that they are 5 star. Is it for service, food, airplane, ground staff, etc? The ground staff of QA really makes my head almost fell into the ground. At first, as I was about to go back to Doha rebooking my ticket is a disaster. All the phone lines were buzy or no one answers. When I went to their office I que for more than an hour just to be entertained. Second, when I was supposed to refund the ticket which I purchased in Manila I returned 6x to their office only to find out that "ticket can be refunded only on the issuing office". Before purchasing it in Manila, the staff told me that there is no problem with refunding the ticket in Doha. All they have to do is to send a request from Doha and will be confirmed by the Manila office in few minutes time. When I requested for the refund in Doha, same lines were told "it will be processed in a day or two upon confirmation from Manila". Its been a month and 6x visit to their office since the refund was requested. Only to find out that "TICKET CAN BE REFUNDED ONLY ON THE ISSUING OFFICE". That is what they call 5 STAR AIRLINE...

Really? It was fine by me.
In- flight entertainment was excellent and so was the food - healthy fare, the way I like it. Comparable to MAS. Stewards and Stewardesses attentive. Very pleasant flights. But I haven't been on many as yet.
And I'm talking economy class, of course. I dunno about business class...
always travelling in a business class flight, but the service really sucks..

Excuse me, but in my opinion and based on my experience, QA is not worthy of 2 stars in terms of pre-flight or in-flight service.
I have no idea how they can possibly justify their claim to so called 5 star status.
Maybe this is a case of miscommunications or lack of knowledge for the ground staff, for sure the 5-star status they are claiming is during the air travel, the services on-board and the facilities available compare from any other airlines. I understand what you feel right now, and I am not connected with QA, but looking to the whole picture, it might be the issuing agent faults. A happy Christmas to all.

Any International airline ticket Can be refunded only by the issued station through the issued agent, if it was an agent who issued.
Any airline for that matter.
