Qatar Airways: Opportunity to Win Free Tickets This Eid

With the coming of Eid al-Fitr, Qatar Airways is offering an opportunity for all residents to win free return tickets to any destination of their choice, for both a loved one, as well as themselves.

As Eid is generally associated with generosity, the idea is to celebrate the holiday by giving a loved one the chance to win tickets.

Once you register on the website, enter your chosen friend or family member's details, and send them the opportunity to win, you too will be entered into a raffle draw to receive return tickets to any destination of your choice.

The more individuals you provide with the possibility of winning tickets, the more you increase your chances of winning.

To familiarize participants with the airline's over 125 destinations, online users will be able to browse through an interactive, animated route map.

So, start giving! And, good luck!

Note: Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast), is a Muslim religious holiday that marks the end of the holy month, Ramadan. It is expected to fall on the 8th of August this year.

they often said they're fully booked. yet they're having this kind of promo? "Winner will sit on the wing side (outside)" lol!

happened a lot of times especially during December...

if you didn't check-in on line, you are bound to be off loaded.

Why do they want to woo potential customers when they are already overbooking their flights and denying boarding to genuine customers???

You have to log on via a specific website address and there are a bunch of references to how it is only for people living in Qatar.

I get endless amounts of spam from Qatar Airways beckoning me to rent cars in countries I'll never visit and stay in expensive hotels I can't afford. I'm certainly not going to inflict that on my friends. Why can't I just enter the competition and win the tickets myself?!

but there is nothing in the main Qatarairways webpage leading to this so called "contest"

I guess fubar is right, maybe this is a merchandising strategy to get plenty of emails and then SPAM people with useless and pointless promotions

Regards!!

So basically we are adding the names and email addresses of our friends and family to Qatar Airways so that they can spam them every few weeks with emails and offers, all so that they might win a ticket?

If a friend did that to me I'd be pretty annoyed.
