DOHA: The general public can now take advantage of the abundance of uniquely Qatar Internet domain names which end with .qa available through accredited registrars. Qatar Domains Registry (QDR) has officially made Qatar-specific Internet domain names available to the public, allowing individuals and businesses to secure personalised and unique domain names. Qtel office in Musherib have informed me that they charge 50QR at registration and 20 every month. So for the 1st year it is 290 QR.

Wooow, on w3qatar.com its QR250 for any domain name per year,... i think its too expensive, considering that you can get a .com domain name for $10 (QR 36) per year.
