Thanks for the responses. I figured that being an industrial city/area that there had to be pollution but was trying to get an idea of how bad it was. Without pollution readings, I guess its hard to compare.
when you pass the refineries and the big chimneys emitting crazy amount f black smoke, those refineries surround the capital, placed in various locations, emitting poisonous/highly cancerous gasses....no i doubt its polluted...i really dont care what color the sea is, its not the sea that we breathe, its the air....
Qatar is an industrial country we are surrounded by industries making pollution, not to mention what is happening due to all the concrete they said the city center area has so much concrete it raises the temperature. When an aluminum smelter goes in at Messaid it will be very bad for our health. Just ask the asthma doctor at Hamad he has toooooooooo much work as lung disease due to the pollution is on the rise, not to mention their are no emmission controls here. Its a poison cocktail we are breathing, then add the constant dust in the air. I wish we could get an independent reading on the pollution but given the wealth of the country is from the industry that will never happen.
