As far as Ras Laffan, came to Doha to get an OEC just to be greeted by a sour-faced woman and sternly inform you that OEC IS OUT STOCK. ehe....? It gets out ot stock? The poor comprehension of this poor wondering earthling don't get it.
Or at least, give me/us a little smile to ward off the heat and thirst of stinging summer sun.I tried to get her to into a conversation and explain somehow but she just make "donno" and keep her eye on her busy fingers.
Anybody understand this pls?

OEC form is not available in OWWA one year back, but OWWA personnel are taking payment and will ask you to call them after 3 days, once you call they will tell you it will not available for a month, whatever you paid cant be taken back as they said it is already in thier record....
Maybe they are still printing the form from somewhere out there....why they cant download it in the website to make the job more easier???
I know what is OEC, however, you should have posted your topic in Filipino forum as this is a main forum?(english & general topic). I think yours concerning only for Philippine documents.

getting an OEC in pinas is like torture especially when you go to the main POEA office in ortigas, i've been there and spent the whole day there.
that out of stock alibi has been going on for quite some time, some kabayans i know who were about to go home for vacation had that alibi from OWWA to get an OEC. the people (from OWWA and our beloved embassy) really are useless! imagine we're still using that government receipt since time immemorial!! could they just change that receipt system and make the OEC process a bit easier?
Should this not be posted in the Pinoy group, as looks like they are the only ones who know what an OEC is?

out of stock?? oh dear me, whatever will we do.... do they need to make a purchase order or something? coz where i worked before in a supermarket, that's what we do when we get out of stock.. this is not a good news... :/
.. and it goes out of stock. Said to be available only next week. Hope i will still get it before departure next week.
