The pharmacy 'incident' at National
Had a day where I bought a One Touch digital blood sugar tester set in a drugstore in National area and there is this Arab guy inside his parked car outside who's calling a pharmacist inside to 'serve' him some medicine. The guy in the drugstore went out and 'serves' him. After paying for the ones I bought, I went out and told the Arab guy "LAZY BOY!" with a higher tone of my voice.
For chrissake, you never EVER do that 'habit' on a drugstore! You always go personally to a drugstore to find your needed perscription of medicine or other medical paraphernalia and pay it properly to the nearest cashier.
But asking a pharmacist to 'serve' you the drug from your own parked car outside?? That's just plain rude.
And to the pharmacist: why do you let such type of habit from certain people continue doing it that way?
I watched a guy last week honking his horn outside a bakala for 5 minutes

I dont really get why you are so bothered by it to be honest.
The pharmacy guy served him without complaint, and near the national showroom parking is impossible. if it brings the pharmacy more customers and customers are pleased that they dont have to ciricle for an hour to find parking whats it to anyone elses business?

I've never done it outside a pharmacy, but i've done it once or twice outside cafeterias. I don't see much wrong with it...but that may be bcos i lived all my life here. Most cafeterias have one or two guys whose sole job is to run to and fro between cars and the shop. They do it because it gets them more customers. I do it because its accepted here...and they really don't seem to mind it. I think you guys should just get used to it...
It happens so commonly here tht.. we are getting used to it...
Good there are people who want to see a change.. :)

I felt sorry for myself that after studying so hard and earned a degree in a university there are still people who treated us this way. We are professionals not a laundryboy, servers in a cafeteria or supermarket... MyHotComments +
Same thing happened in our pharmacy. An Arab lady was inside the car and wanted me to go outside to serve her. But I didn't do it. Instead I told my assistant to go out and ask what's her problem. And if she needs medicine tell her where not supermarket or cafeteria. She needs to go inside and tell the pharmacist about what she needs. I even told my assistant to tell her nicely. So what's nxt?!?!?! She started shouting... And never came back. MyHotComments +
