Paucity of Studios/1BHK in Doha

I have now been in Doha for almost half a year. What I notice about the real estate market is that here there are extremely limited options with regards to Studios or 1BHK accommodations. There are I guess thousands of professionals like me who are either bachelors/spinsters or have not brought their family along from their respective home countries. I guess such people would definitely like the option of not sharing an accommodation and live privately?

So why is there such a paucity of small accommodation (non-shared) in this city?

Yeah thats okay, but I guess they would be earning out of Studios & 1BHKs as well, isint it?
