partying on the sea

selani
By selani

The other day i was on a fishing trip with friends 2-3 km out at sea. We saw a boat with a many westerners openly drinking alcohol and dancing to loud music wearing very very little clothing( men and ladies). Is this kind of thing legal in qatar?

Britex you better find ways to erect your mast real quick before the wind changes it's course! Otherwise you may have to scuttle your own boat...I think it's time to use the blue pill!

Well for the love of god do not run a marathon or you will be between the 'twix' and twain.

I suggest you look at your snicker and be satisfied with the 'rocky road' and come back as a Kit Kat. You can do two or four fingers with that treat.

The wind was against him. He had beans for tea :-(

Et TU!

Actually, It flaps a little too much :O(

I'm giving up being a Pirate and am sitting here with a coconut choccie hat..

He can hoist it, it just does not flap in the wind :-/

By nomerci• 26 Feb 2011 21:43

Dear Lord Brit...you need to figure out how to hoist the flag, man!

By anonymous• 26 Feb 2011 18:55
anonymous

I feel for you I really do; there is nothing worse than hoisting the Jolly Roger only for the plank to fail you at the last minute. Did you not have a back up? What about a musket you could have fired;-/

By edifis• 26 Feb 2011 18:19

Thats what I meant "The main mast broken" gone missing!

By edifis• 26 Feb 2011 18:15

I'm going throuh a bad patch. I showed her my Jolly Roger and she said , "you've got a missin mast" :O(

The shorter the better! It will help us to maintain our CG and keep our heads above the water.

By edifis• 26 Feb 2011 17:26

Britex you will need to man the poop to watch out for the pirates!...I think Tinker will measure up to that job very well!

By anonymous• 26 Feb 2011 17:23
anonymous

He was all adrift and lost his way. His moorings were all askew and his plank was lowered early on.

The eye patch came in handy as it did hide the nervous twitch :-/

By anonymous• 26 Feb 2011 17:17
anonymous

Shiver me timbers you are here and looking as lovely as per (swoon). Thanks for the return of the corset x

Brit has your eye patch he was playing hoist the flag last night with the Mrs. x

By edifis• 26 Feb 2011 17:12

OK Cabbage is the femail pirate...and the wet sparrow is welcome overboard too!

Nomerci will bring the 'roast boar on the spit' and 'shiver me timbers' me and the fellow pirates will board thee from beneath the planks...'up me hearties!' yohooohooo and a bottle of rum!

By anonymous• 26 Feb 2011 16:36

That girl can hoist anything up a pole! She has to be admired though :-/

Cabbage, life just isn't fair.

I will let you have some of the 25 bottles of rum on the wall so you can down your sorrows properly.:)

As a child, I was made to walk the plank. We couldn't afford a dog :-(

By nomerci• 26 Feb 2011 15:43

PIRATES!!! Yes, just down my plank! I will bring the pig on the spit! :)

By anonymous• 26 Feb 2011 15:41

Jack Sparrow - hurrah; we will be safe!

I am going to go and brush my corset off now.

Where is that Tinkers when you need her? She borrowed it last week for her Pirate themed Pole dancing.

It would be rather nice to have my swash buckled ;-/

I will be the Somali Pirate for the trip!

By Xena• 26 Feb 2011 14:44
Xena

I have no doubt we could organise that;-P

Its just not a fair hunting ground though.... the sheep are um.... sitting ducks - and the wolf will have absolutely no challenge in trying to catch the sheep.... I think you need to hire a cruise liner... way more places for both to hide;-P

By selani• 26 Feb 2011 14:40

take me as well. I don't mind broadening my horizons.

I am interested in arranging one of these trips for DaRuDe and some friends. Are sheep allowed on these trips ?

By DaRuDe• 26 Feb 2011 14:30

By edifis• 26 Feb 2011 14:27

Does this nude boat have both 'clothes optional Deck' and a bikini deck too?

By one_shot• 26 Feb 2011 14:22

hmmm...how can i explain it to you

yes

it is like they have the permission to sell cigarettes, but they sell drugs when the police are not there.

By Xena• 26 Feb 2011 14:19
Xena

its not illegal... There are companies that run these trips - I don't think they would be allowed to operate if they were doing illegal business, do you?

By Xena• 26 Feb 2011 14:17
Xena

don't scare the poor inhibited Selani;-P

By one_shot• 26 Feb 2011 14:16
one_shot

don't try to legalize it because you do it :P

it is illegal....end of the story.

By Xena• 26 Feb 2011 14:16
Xena

it was westerners? I have been on many of these trips and they are always mixed nationalities. So unless you were spying on the boat and close to it, how would you know any of this information?

By anonymous• 26 Feb 2011 14:15
anonymous

Just consider it legal. Did they distract the fish or was it you who got distracted. Next time take a camera along and you can save the pictures as nice memories on unusual happenings in the desert.

By Xena• 26 Feb 2011 14:12
Xena

Selani.

Those Dhows are orgnanised by companies who specialise in sea party trips.

BTW - how do you know they were drinking alcohol? could you see the bottles from your boat?

It is illegal and you should have called the CID. Failure to report a crime is a crime itself so you are now a criminal.

By DaRuDe• 26 Feb 2011 14:08

you complaining because they didnt invite you to join their party

No need to get emotional. My question simply was! is it legal or illegal. Yes or no.

Cheers

These naked dancing ladies on the ships are a bad influence on the fishes & other marine creatures!

Thats why they taste funny these days!

@britexpat--try and image the uncomfortable silence in the room after telling that joke!

seriously though, leave em alone. they're not hurting anybody.

Don't go on such ships. They are dangerous.

I fell overboard from a cruise ship and awoke on an Island surrounded by mountains made of cake and rivers of custard.

I think it was a dessert Island.

Well, then you are lucky and had an enjoyable sight! Not too frequently available over here.

use binoculars, i had none. But strangely whenever i see women in bikinis, my eyes automatically go into telescopic/ X-ray and even night-vision mode. I am so embarrased, but doctors say its a birth defect and there is no cure.

Selani, did you use your binoculars?

By Intelligent• 26 Feb 2011 13:11

Yes. No one cares whatever you do unless you start bothering people around you. In the open see you sure can not bother anyone. Just enjoy....
