what you think eveyday food and other living expense for 1.7 million (17 laks) from where the Govt and other NGOs and Charity organization are covering up?

Ofcourse from the generous donors like you.

Keep the Faith and pray for those innocent people effected that they go back to their home and start living their normal life again.

You should not give your cash donations to indiduals or to any organization who you don't know.

Pakistan Embassy/ UBL are the only officially accepting cash donations ...

About Qatar Red Crescent we will announce shortly.

they are the legal channels available and I do trust them but have some fears and doubts.

The main concern is that the donations reach to the deserving.

Hope that they get back to normal life very soon.

yeaterday at Pakistan Embassy meeting Qatar Red Crescent representative were also present and I know the personally.

They came on their own to show their support to us. I think soon you will hear from us some kind of chairty campaign with QRCS. You will have another option to send you donations to the people of Swat - Pakistan.

Jazak Allah Khair.

With all due respect, I have seen the Embassies at work in Saudi.. Lots of internal politics and showboating..

I personally would rather give to a recognized charity then a government agency..

BUt, this is only my opinion and I would urge people to give to whomever you feel - Just Donate..

evidence or witnessed ...

I strongly believe that our Embassies are honest and ther are doing all their best to collect as much donations and send it to Swat relief funds opened by Govt. of Pakistan.

Rest if someone is cheating Allah will punish them but for sure you will get Jaza for your good deeds.

Or if you have other reliable sources or channel to send donations please use that but we must not stop !

Guys & Gals,

No doubt we all get worried when we have to deposit our money in to these organizations or Embassy committed to serve the needy people. But do we really have a choice?? as we NRPs can only get updates from our PAKISTANI tv channels and can only shed tears on their miserable position or situation.

.

Anyhow, I would say that our donations & goods both do reach at the designated areas but the real problem starts from that point onwards. They after taking custody of such donations, they distribute it either among themselves or a gang of furustrated/effected people rob it on the way before it reaches to other effected village.

.

FAMOUS EXAMPLES or STORIES during OCTOBER EARTHEQUAKE IN NORTHERN AREAS IN PAKISTAN.

.

Being PAKISTANI & Muslims, we just give out with open hearts whatever we can thinking that atleast we will be awarded by ALLAH anyhow. So, just do it for the love of ALLAH & HIS Beloved Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.)

.

JAZAAK ALLAH

Respective Embassies and registered chairty organization is the only legal way to collect and donate.

I have the same fears as yours.

Hope the confilct end with minimal "collateral" damages and the government take then its full responsibiltu in reconcilation and re-construction.

To be honest, I always worry when "Embassies" or governments start collecting for such causes....

You never know whether the money is actually going to reach the victims..

Pakistan Embassy has opened an account 010-8731-7 in United Bank Ltd. If somebody wants to help these children, can send donation through that account.
