and the Original Opera Cafe in Kuwait is far more better than these.

the problem here in Qatar that what ever they serve us with what ever money they charge us we take it

unlike Kuwait, if they didn't like you, you are doomed.

..ha... i used to go with my friend(s) to La Cigal to the sushi bar... we alsways ordered a "Tokio Special" plate for the very attractive price of QR65 each. A week ago as usual we came to the same La Cigal hotel, same sushi bar, SAME table.. the waiter brings us a menu which looks different from the one we got used to.. well... we were surprized to see that our favorite "Tokio Special", went from QR 65 up to Qr 115 just like that. Moreover, we asked what happend to our "Tokio Special", the waiter said, it WAS NEVER QR65 for ANY plate in the bar...

my freind and I looked at each other trying to figure out who out of three of us is insane, (my friend, I or the waiter?).. but we had no any success in figuring it out.. so we just ordered the same plate, but for almost doubled price...

...we stll love sushi and we still go to La Cigal, as they have the best sushi in town...

fishermanalex, you ask why on earth they do that? just because ALL the prices are going up and up...they not gonna lose anything or anybody...people still want and need something to eat...

for the same reason the landlords will never lose their tenants... people need the place to live...

for the same reason airlines will never lose their passengers.. people still need to travel....

... and so on and on and on... sorry, eh?

you are a teaser. after that mouth watering introduction, you told us about the new prices and the shrinking food. did you visit your optician recently?

couple of weeks ago, went to Maison Des Cafe and the waitress who gave us the menu told us that the prices have changed and it is updated in the English menu and not in the Arabic menu. asked her if she got a salary increase and her answer was NO. unfortunately, the inflation is an epidemic but I think it is much exagerated and it is not justifiable
