Open Top Tour Bus For Doha

timebandit
By timebandit

Looks like Doha now has it's very own tour bus. And I am guessing that you can Hop ON and Hop OFF as indicated by the signage on the bus. Looks fab doesn't it.

So it would seem that Qatar is becoming more tourist orientated. I am looking forward to Hopping ON this myself.

Will there be family day applicable for this bus ride too...I mean no bachelors on Fridays and only legal and illegal couples...:((

Well apparently there is free stuff involved, but slightly different to the rumors you have heard Brit my old friend. I am actually looking forward to this with my photographic passion in mind.

Aaah.. So the rumours about each passenger being given a free bottle of Bollinger Les Vieilles and a paid stop over at Rizks papdom and Paani Poori Emporium are tru :O)

Having spoken to someone with inside knowledge. I now believe the price to be reasonable. For some unknown reason they want to keep their stuff secret at the moment. But as soon as the service rolls out your roving reporter TB will be there to bring you up to date ;)

UK: A couple of years ago, I loved every second of it. There's so much history in London and I was fascinated by the sights and there was so much I didn't know about London although I grew up there...

I've done the river boat a couple of times too, and the London Eye :-)

snessy when is the last time you rode a hop on hop off bus in London. I went on it last year. I got off at Pudding Lane to inspect where the great fire of London started! There are a lot of facts one can get on while riding these buses. You can also use your ticket to ride on the River Boat..:)

By snessy• 26 Mar 2013 13:43

That is ridiculously overpriced, I think the ones in London are cheaper than that and there's loads to see around London unlike Doha.

Yeh,, Hop-On & Hop-off with frustration coz of traffic as probably tourists could walk faster than the pace of the bus.

Ouch!! QAR 182 is a lot of dosh for a bus ride. I thought it was going to be a cheap Hop ON Hop Off tour bus.

Thanks for getting the information PrinceOfQatarLiving.Com I missed that when it came out in GT.

I'm not convinced tourists are going to fork out that much, but hey what do I know?

I will still take a ride just to find out what it's all about though.

Your pardon smoke, as one frequents those gentleman's club every time one goes home. The famous one being String Fellows and Spearmint Rhino..:) Actually I did not know anything about them until that old Bugger Britexpat told me about them.:) He is a very popular patron of these clubs..:)

The brownies can only be bought in mushroom cafe's..:)

Pardon me Sir Ukeng, you see this is what happens when there are no Gentlemen's Clubs around, we dont know what to call it :P

MIA,Dhow Deck, Sheraton Park = Corniche road

Katara = passing through corniche road

Souq waqif = before corniche road

So basically everything revolves around "corniche road" :P

Why Open top is not good for Doha...

1. Intense heat above 45C

2. Almost Constant Sandstorm..

People need proper bus route not some circus bus...

I really cant imagine who will travel in that... not me... I will prefer to travel in my car... for any touristic tour in Qatar...

it was like before, why Doha has not a bus like Dubai/Malayasia/Oman ??

Is the top part open? I think it's designed for people who are still not immune to the smell of the freakin' armpits inside the buses. LOL

Why not build alot of exercise machines that the public can use freely as a tactic to entice people to be fit and healthy? As you can see alot of people are becoming like Sumo Wrestlers o wait another round of burgers please!
