Only in the UK - Beer delivered to the Queen!
TWELVE barrels of lager were mistakenly delivered to the Queen — instead of a PUB called the Windsor Castle.
Royal staff were baffled when a lorry carrying 2,000 pints turned up at the real Windsor Castle.
Flunkies found no record of the order.
But a royal protection cop decided to call the boozer five miles away in Maidenhead.
Pub boss Misko Coric confirmed he was waiting for the beer before the England v. Croatia game — and it was more than three hours late.
Misko, 53, said: “We have taken delivery of Windsor Castle headed notepaper and letters for Prince Charles — but this is the first time they had anything destined for us.”
A castle spokesman said: “It was very funny. But there’s no way the Queen sits down in the evening with a pint.”
**I know some Queens who love a pnt :o)
Phew. You had me worried there gypsy.
It was probably a pint of Pimms disguised as beer.
No I don't, but I remember it being in the news when she got to have a pint there.
You watch Coronation Street Gypsy? I never thought a non-Brit would watch that trash!
I would disagree, she did have a pint at the pub on Coronation Street. LOL, I bet Will's and Harry were upset at the loss.
