Older women and younger men: Can it Work?

EagleQatar
By EagleQatar

I was reading some articles about the relationships between older women and younger men, so I'm wondering if this kind of relationship can work considering the big gap of age?

Here is one of the articles:

i am sure, in 25 years you are definitely not gonna "find all wrinkly skin, saggy boobs, and barely any hair on your head!"...If you don't want to! Nowadays technology already helps you to avoid all these awful things which you are talking about..and in 25 years from now, this field will be developed soooo much more! so may be you will find all these horrible features in another 25 years after first 25 years! lol.. even that i doubt!

love and logic don't go together... lol...by the way i know the couple where she is younger than him for about 24 years, and she is beautiful young Lady, he is an elder, but very good looking guy, full of energy, it's always fun with him.. she sais "I cannot imagine my life without him!"...

...look at all these celebrities..they are all married to the guys 15-20-25 years younger... and don't say that money or status is decisive factor... The guy is falling in love with woman who has accomplished a lot (that's why she deserves respect!), who is in the perfect shape (that's why she is physically desirable), who is a good friend and adviser, as her life experience is wider and deeper...

By Cornellian• 26 Nov 2007 20:22

Don't do this to me! Don't let me hang on false hope only to wake up 25 years from now and find all wrinkly skin, saggy boobs, and barely any hair on my head!

Maybe if I keep saying "I'll get prettier, I'll get prettier, I'll get prettier", it'll work ? Heck it worked for Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz damnit!

well i think you mis interpreted what i was saying by physical attractions... im speaking from a non muslim law background... were physical attractions lead to very very short relationships... ie the cougar comment...

a cougar is an older women who just wants to get with a younger man for a brief intercourse... not one who is looking for a relationship... and 24 years of age difference doesn't mean one cant be attractive... my mom has a friend who is a lawyer and is in her 40's and i must say she is one hot mamma ... i would definitely say she is alot prettier than women my own age... at 25

i do agree that physical attraction is a horrible reason to keep a relationship... as for a relationship... or falling in love... it just happens...

here is a trick! we don't choose a love! Once Love overtakes us and covers with the fluffy blanket... We do not think: "oh, he/she is older/ younger, therefore I shall not love him/her"... We simply fall in love... Why? Nobody knows!

thatguy.. well, speaking of physical attraction..I think, with 24 years of difference it is not a case, at least this is not a main reason for keeping good relationship, for sure!! Even though i have to admit, some ladies in their 40-s phisically much more attractive than 18-20 years old chicks...

By thatguy• 26 Nov 2007 19:47

24 years younger? Wow he's young enough to be her son! I don't think I would want to be at that age and date a much younger guy nor would I want to be at this age and date a much older guy. but they've got to be friends so they have things to talk about..otherwise the age gap can be like a canyon.

Sexwise..of course it would work because women don't even start to reach their sexual peak until at least 45 and men hit theirs in their early 20's...

Sure! I have dated a guy 12 years younger (for 5 years) , and 16… and guess what, I still felt a little girl with them… The last thing I want to be is their mom… and regardless their age, my guys are usually more mature than I am in a way of acting, behaving, thinking…

Nowadays, a woman who looks after herself physically and mentally, is in a great shape. She doesn’t stop going to Gym, she loves to dance, she loves music, she loves to get into some adventures, she loves to learn new things…

And on top of that, these “grown up girls” know how to manage relationship, they don't get madly jealous, they don't make a huge deal out of nothing, they don’t change their mind every 3 seconds, they know how to ignore guy’s stupid words….They are deeper emotionally too...And so and so and so…..

Sometimes 23-y.o. chick out of physical, mental and emotional shape can not keep up with 37-38-40 y.o. one, trust me….

is not all it is made out to be. Women usually work at it harder than men because we are raised to be care givers.

Except for one, my longer lasting relationships were with women older than me. My wife is a few years older than me and we've been married 7 years now. And we've been a couple for 2 years before that. (That's 9 years of relationship !)

I think it depends more on the persons involved rather than their age but older women then to be more understanding than fickle-minded.

I have dated men my age and they have looked WAY older than me! My ex husband was 9 years younger and my ex fiance was 17 years younger and no one ever thought there was any age gap between me and my ex.

I really think women age far better than men!

Last Friday I thought I'd try a change and went out with a guy 10 years OLDER than me! He looked like my Dad just before he died and he was in his 80's!

i think older women younger men work great!

My ex was younger than I...

Key word being EX...

I like younger women; but, they like that hip hop rap crap...

And I don't want that blaring in my pad...Or my head

Most pinay not into that unless they Americanized though...

Younger woman is OK...But they have to be way mature...

Ok put it this way

In General Older man younger woman is the rule...

Because we know women more mature...

But if they work out, eat right and still look hot...

I would prefer the older woman???

Make any sense???
