Non monetary donations sought by South African Embassy in one of the schools

Recently my friends daughter is studying in one of the Indian Schools here,she came with a circular given in the school.It is as follows:

Dear Parents,

We have been approached by the South African Embassy to request the parents of school to make non-monetary donation like Blankets,Clothes,toys,educational childrens books and videos.No one is expected to go and buy and donate.Good second-hand clothes and toys would be most welcome.Please do not give dirty and torn or damaged stuff.Do pack the clothes after washing and ironing.

The donated items should reach the incharge between 5pm to 7pm by 14th june 2007.No item will be acepted after that. signed by Principal.

Some time back I had read some QL members asking where to give old cloths and other materials.

I think ,its for a right cause,lets try to help those needy .
