New Visa Rules for Canadians entering UAE!!
Well here's another twist in the Canadian Vs. UAE issue. The UAE will now make all Canadians apply for a Visa before entering the country starting January 2, 2011.

Anyone know how to get this visa? Do you have to purchase it in advance? or grab it at the airport? Anyone know?

started of from a bilateral seat sharing of airlines, when Emirates asked for more frequency. which lead to shifting the base , and now restrictions on Visa regulations..lol sounds kiddish to me.
EU also gets enlightend , the KLM CEO is trying to unite all EU airlines to stop the threat from Gulf based carriers including Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad.
Not surprised. The UAE is upset because their airline did not get additional landing rights in Canada. This arguing back and forth between the two will continue for some time I suspect.
