New PAJERO in Doha
Hi all,
I am planning to buy new SUV, I was introduced to PAJERO 3.8, they have an offer on it, then I found that the offer was because they are remodeling it, and the new car now in doha.
A lot of people advised not to buy the new PAJERO, they told me that their is a roomer that RANGE ROVER will take Mitsubishi to court because of the design of the New PAJERO, and they expect that because of that Mitsubishi will remodel it again, which mean also they will change the car parts, which mean ... no spare parts for the 2007 PAJERO.
one of the salesmen in the re-selling market also advised me to keep away from PAJERO, he told me that the old have problems with the (ABS) system espicially off road. Then he told me something, he said he hear it from Mitsubishi dealer that the new PAJERO parts are very very expensive, even he told that Mitsubishi introduced new Break system of 4 parts, if one of them brake down then you have to pay for the 4 parts, you can't change only one, which mean 4000 Qatari real for a one Weel Break???????????????
other told me that Mitsubishi mentaince people are the worest in Doha, ... they dont even speak Arabic nor English ... and they know (one word) ... "Sorry you have to pay 2000 QR" before we can see the car ....... is this true?
my freind advised me, that buying a new model in Middel East is really a problem, were the maintance paple will need at least 2 years to be able to fix the car engin or any other parts, .... what if it is Mitsubishi - PAJERO.
The worst here that one of the Sales Manageres in Mitsubishi him self advised one of my freinds to buy the old model if he want to save his money ... and he said : "we need one year at least to be able to fix the new car" ...................
WWWWWWWWWWWow, I am really confused with these stories, please if any can help with advise.

I just googled the new pajero and range rover sport. I can see a slight resemblence from the side. But surley nothing for Land Rover to be too worried about. The two cars are hardly in the same league.
The sales managers at Mitsubishi will ofcourse say that becoz they know abt stuff like that, personally i have had a Pajero for two years, i took it for four company services, and their service was quick and good.
Toyota Prados are ok, but they are insanely priced, i would advise u to get urself a HONDA MRV, great nu model has just arrived, or even a Nissan Pathfinder, if u plan to use them well, the only good thing abt Toyota is that their value doesnt fall at all, u buy a brand new car, use it, then sell it for about 85% of its current value, whilst other cars tend to loose 30%-50% of their value.
