i dont knw abt u guys but there are other things going on in doha other thn exchanging greetings for the weekend and the sharing of the motor show pics....heres one...

ok so the thing is im still not so clear abt this but as far as i cud understand tht the system of yearly performance appraisal and grading and subsequent incremental in govt and semi govt agencies has been abolished and a new system in which there are only two categories (i.e. very good and excellent)which equal a 5% and 6% on basic salary yearly bonus) will be implemented......

employees and also many comentators said tht this was a good move as it wud ease the dilemma of grading employees and simply put them in one of these two categories, creating this kind of equality among the workforce and it will also make them MORE EFFICIENT,when this system is put into place....what da ya guys think? shud employee grading be lax? and wat drives an employee to work hard if say he/she is sure to get atleast a "very good" grade?

CMA Certified Management Accountant

CMA Part 1Course Start Date: 27/04/2012

Course Duration: 60 Hours (60 hours for training 15 hours for exam session overview)

Course Frequency: Fridays Only - 12 weeks approx for 60 hours.

Regular Course Timings: 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm

haha with only "good" or "excellent" to chose from... I assume everyone would be entitled to a performance bonus. So why do they bother with performance management process? may as well save some time and just give everyone 2% cost of living increase haha

yo fathima.... u see first off the health center folk they qualify as excellent....why after all they are so courteous and polite and professional... i ve yet to see such an amazing bunch...!!!

.... wat abt the ones tht are not on the front desk.... hmmmm....

i cud have imagined it cud ve been more better if effective HR policies and their consequences of failing to follow shud have been put forward..... i guess its back to snooring again!

All the employees should be evaluated based on their performace. If an employee who performs well and he meets the excpectation/exceeds the expectation, then he/she will get a good evlautaion and get a hike in salary. So perform well in your job and every year you can see your salary growing....
