I heard that a new sports bar had opened in the renaissanc hotel in west bay......called champions bar...is this true? I also heard it was qr. 15 a pint for the first month! Can anyone confirm this?
Cheers guys. Yes my friend just said he went last weekend and managed to persuade the lady to let them in even though it was hotel residents only. They had free food and beer was qr. 20 a pint. Sounds like the staff were training so not yet open to the public.
Its only for Champions. As the Unofficial Tiddlywinks Champion of Great Britain and Europe - excluding those little ex soviet countries - I was invited :O)
As far as I know, they're still not officially opened yet. It's all invited and VIP guests until they are 100% ready to open. They are selling beers at 15QR, whether they'll continue when it's officially open....we can only hope!!
