Need Advices

GD to everyone living in Qatar! I've been surfing the internet to look for some helpful information about Qatar and luckily, I found Qatar Living.

I need some helpful information. I am a Filipino lady married to a Frenchman and We are currently living in France. I recently accepted a job at a government company as a Cost Analyst and I'll be arriving on February next year. They offered QR17,500 plus housing and transportation allowance, annual return ticket and medical insurance. The question is, will it suffice? If you will ask me how I live my lifestyle, well, just like any other women. I rake the snow from the driveway, I cook, I wash clothes, etc. You know the basics.

Plus, my husband is considering to look for a job there on May 2009. He is a Planning Engineer. Is there a brimming possibility that my husband could get a job and a good offer? If ever my husband got a job, can I transfer Barwa's sponsorship to my husband?

Lastly, How is the life of married couples in Qatar? We don't party so I won't be needing any advices about nightlife there. How about transportation?

Advance thanks! I know I would be messing the forum threads with my topic and sorry for that. Good day!

Your husband will find work...if you wish, you could send us his CV to [email protected] we have clients who are hiring for such position.

Your husband could take a package including accommodation and you could use your accommodation.

Welcome to Doha and good luck..

Wow! A very good offer for a filipino woman! But if hubby gets housing allowance, there's a big possibility that Barwa might cut or at least reduce yours! With regards to married life, I don't think there's any problem with that.

cheers,

paul

17500 is a good offer. ask them if you can take the housing as cash equiv. if hubby gets his own and you are 'raking' it in :o)

Did you Google it first?
