MyTones -  when people call you, instead of a ring they will hear music!

Qtel has just launched this exciting service which will replace the traditional ring ring by fun songs or sound clips to be played to your callers. The song is played to all or selected callers until you pick up the call.

MyTones service allows you to express yourself through a song of your choice and entertain your callers at the same time. You can select your tones from over 300 tones covering a huge variety of content from Arabic, Islamic, English, Filipino, Farsi, Indian and much more.

MyTones service takes customization to the next level. You can select a special tone to be played to a special caller. You can also select a specific tone to be played at a certain time of the day.

Remind coworkers not to call you while you’re on vacation by having them listen to the ‘Summertime's Calling Me’ song. Or put your friends in a good mood every time they call you and hear the soulful voice of Fayrouz.

Another interesting feature in MyTones is the Shuffle feature which turns your phone into an MP3 player and plays all tones in your MyTones account randomly to all callers.

The previous features can be activated by creating new “play rules”. And you can create as many play-rules as you like for free. 

So How Do You Sign up?

Call 9002424 now to activate your MyTones account and select your favorite tones using the interactive voice response (IVR) in either Arabic or English.

The charge for each tone is QR5 per month. Customers can have as many tones as they like in their MyTones account. Calls made to 9002424 are charged QR1 per minute.
