at least u r d one who deleted ur forum. i've posted a forum a month ago & somebody deleted it!!! i didn't even read d responses (there were 75 posts!). nobody notified me or even explained to me why it happend!!!

unfortunately it has been like this ever since i was member in QL.

all you need to do is not to complain. defend your cause even with your language if you are not comfortable with english.

Who on earth in QL is willing to be an English professor at Hayward University, the only thing required to reply a post is to understand the content and the intention of the poster, but on QL making fun out of such small things is just a ridicules habit of some inhumane Qlers I have noticed in my recent past experience on the website….

I can see what you mean, some people do get hung up on spelling mistakes, next thing you will be asked to submit your Degree before you can post on QL..I actually envy all the non native English speakers who contribute, its very imppressive.

Sometimes we all make mistakes because we post in a hurry, not because of our English....Dont take it too serious though, just keep posting...

Oh dear, sorry to hear about your previous thread and the problems you had to endure with certain QLers. Don't worry, take it in your stride.

If there is anything positive that has come out from your previous experience, THIS thread of yours is indeed proving a success and proves that there a many caring people in QL !

OK, try then somthing short...like phone calls!

I personally don't have a problem with talking while on the toilet or talking with someone else while they're on the toilet, but it's kind of annoying when a person doing this is making straining sounds, grunting sounds, and magnifies the relief "ahhhh" sound after the plop plop fizz fizz.

Those things I can do without - most phone have mute capability - people should use it.

I ALWAYS read on the loo! Find it a nice distraction, often i'll read to the end of a chapter even when i'm done, and i really have to make myself put a magazine down if i'm enjoying reading it. it's just nice to read uninterrupted doing my business haha!!

And for you Spicemon,you should start going in there for 1/2 an hours peace at the childrens bedtime. You'll just sit there enjoying the peace and not being involved with anything.

I am not super sensitive. It should not happen to the other new comer’s that’s why I grab others attention to this issue.

I believe in give respect and take respect. Hope no one is 100% perfect here. I believe the communities like QL stands to help each others not to criticize member’s mistakes. If you can’t help others just keep quite at least.

really sorry to hear it... i also hate when people start catching on that... there is only a little part of the QL community who are native english speakers (by the way, even those ones make a LOT of mistakes trust me!!! which is really a shame).. but for most of the guys here english is the second, third, even FORTH (like for myself) language.. we really have to be more tolerant to new comers.. please post your topic agan. may be we can help you this time.
