Early-morning fog may have contributed to a multiple-car accident on Laffan road, according to reports on Twitter.

A Ministry of Interior spokesman confirmed to Doha News that an accident took place and said police are investigating what happened. Is is unclear if there were any injuries.

Earlier in the morning, the MOI had warned residents on Twitter and Facebook to drive carefully and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles on the road due to poor visibility from heavy fog.

Thick fog also prompted several accidents in Dubai and the temporary closure of its airport this morning, the National reports.

Exactly UK, have seen Drivers Driving with Hazards on, which is technically against the Driving Norms, when Driving in Heavy Fog...

There are lots of Dumb Souls out there...

Use fog lights not Hazard lights in foggy conditions

They overtake and switch lanes with their hazard lights blinking in heavy fog, very skillful move indeed.

Bad mistake, Mr. Brit. Hazards are supposed to warn of a resting object, not a moving object. At least, that's what logic tells us. (And the law, too).

I had my hazzard warning lights on and was only doing 180KM/h..

tragic and alarming.

If you drive safe, you can get hit by a maniac and idiot.

This is the 1st fog of season and it resulted in this chaos.

GodFather.

That time of the year again when the fog can be dangerous if extra precaution is not taken!

The world would be over-populated soon if these idiots wouldn't reduce their numbers regularly. They may have a strong sense for the protection of Earth's environment. They are martyrs.

What surprises me most is these idiots die on the roads so you would think accidents would reduce, but no, there are plenty of idiots to take their place. Obviously many of these nationalities do you not have the superior education and driving skills of the average Aussie.

I drive better drunk that these guys sober.
