Is this much salary enough for me?

For family, salary should be MINIMUM QAR 7500.

Very important point to consider.. you will not be able to sponsor your wife on this salary..

Please bear this in mind before you decide.

Otherwise, you should consider if the net saving is at least 20% more than what you can now.

ok to start with but by the time you want your family here then you should have minimum 6500. This is out of my interaction with my friends.

n.khan, even without family.. not good salary... if you have more then 5 years experience in your field.. and as per your profile, you are an accountant.. plus you are a pakistani... so ask for atleast 8k...

This package is not enough honestly. Now the living cost in Qatar is high. And the most important thing, if you want ot call your wife here, according to Qatar's law, your salary should be QAR 7500 minimum.

If you want to live alone here and your compnay is giving you transoortation and accomodation, then its okay for a bachelor. You can save half amount as Ghazal's said. But you cannot live a high standard or luxurious life here with this salary (as u said u r not down to earth person).

@ Ghazalz..i wont say that i am down to earth person. But for sure would love to save some of my money. right now i am working in saudi arabia. But having trouble with my sponsor and i have an offer from there...

If you're alone and a down to earth type person,then you would save roughly half of it :)
